Step 1: Double click the Outlook 97 icon on desktop.
Step 2: Once the program is open, click on "Tools" on the menu. Then click on "Services".
Step 3: Under the list of services highlight "Internet Mail". Then click on "Properties".
Step 4: Under the "General Tab", enter all the relevant details Full Name E-mail address Internet Mail Server Account Name Password Then click on "Advanced Options"
Step 5: This will bring up the option to insert the outgoing mail server. Click "OK" < ![]() Step 6: This will bring you back to the "General Tab". Then click on the "Connection Tab".
Step 7: Choose "Connect using the modem". Choose the World Online connection. Once the connection is highlighted, click on "Login As".
Step 8: Insert the dial-up username and password. Then click OK all the way out of Outlook. You will be required to restart Outlook for the changes to take effect |
