Step 1: Double click on the Eudora icon on desktop
Step 2: When the Eudora Program is opened, you will need to click on the Tools button at the top. In the tools menu select Options and then click on it. Click options to continue.
Step 3: In the options window you will see a Category list on the left hand side. The first Category that should be highlighted must be the Getting Started option. Enter the POP account name in the required field which will be the username. Below that enter the users full name or name which they require to be sent with new messages. The connection method that should be ticked must be Winsock and then rest disabled. Click Personal Information to continue
Step 4: Under Personal Information, you will need to enter again the POP account username, Full name and reply email address. Click Hosts to continue.
Step 5: Under the Hosts option you will need to enter once again the POP account username, then below that you will be required to enter the SMTP server which is as it stands in the image. SMTP: mail.global.net.mt Click the Checking Mail option to continue.
Step 6: Make sure that the POP account username is entered in the required field. Mail can be checked automatically every X minutes. Make sure Authentication Style is ticked on Passwords. Click Sending Mail to continue.
Step 7: Make sure the return address is in the required field and the SMTP server is what it should be. All the options below that can be ticked. Click Advanced Network to continue.
Step 8: In this option the user can extend or customize timeout settings for sending and receiving mail. Other options are unnecessary to be edited. Click OK to complete the Eudora configuration. |
